Mine!

New technological advances that came out of the Second Industrial Revolution are electricity, the car, and the bike, all of which are used today. Electricity made is easier to produce items considering it could run machinery which made the locations of factories more flexible. The car, although was only available for the wealthy, it would later on make it easy to transport large numbers of people like nothing ever could before. The bike was the most affordable machines for an individual traveling. Many would either bike for fun or to go to work. Over all, these inventions greatly helped the masses growing in cities during the time of the second industrial revolution, and they still hold a great purpose in society today.

What laws and actions were taken to keep cities clean in this time period?

me

During this time, there were no organised means of waste disposal and management. New reconstruction of living quarters that were less crowded and more accessible to waste facilities were built along with the construction of a completely new water and sewage system in cities like Paris.

What were some of the social distinctions within the middle class and why were they that way?
